At ADGi user experience is at the center of everything that we do. This means that our usability testing approach focuses on both qualitative and quantitatve analysis and metrics, and, importantly, that our analysis follows through to giving our clients concrete and specific design recommendations to address any usability issues that we find.
ADGi uses a user-driven, goal-oriented approach that is focused on the user's process as well as capturing formal quantitative metrics. Through many years of testing, we have found that asking users to undertake activities that are relevant to their own context leads to richer insights into how users want to interact with a given application, device, or site as well as where usability errors occur in the user's natural setting.
We have extensive experience in usability testing, having provided testing services for web sites, web and mobile apps, and physical devices. On average, we conduct over 30 usability tests per year, both locally in our offices and by going to other facilities and client sites.
We often provide usability testing services as part of our design projects, using a separate usability team to evaluate wireframes or clickable prototypes that our designers have produced. We also use usability testing as a tool in our User Research projects, to determine user needs and identify concept models for the product/service being tested.
