Many video games allow you to configure your buttons the way you want. For example, if you don't like that you have to press X in order to jump, you can assign the O button to be your jump button instead by going to a button configuration menu. Unfortunately, not all games do button config menus the way you'd expect them to.

For April Fools this year I swapped the home page photos of the team for pictures of dogs. They are a dogged group: hard working, great spirit, determined, fun, and smart (able to do cool user expereince tricks!).

This topic is a staple of UX. The basic idea is that there are two slightly different components to usability: the ability to discover the feature when attempting an unfamiliar task, and how easy it is to accomplish the task using the feature.

Last December I organized ADG's Christmas party. We decided to have the event at the office so I began researching local caterers. This was the first time I'd organized an office party and I wanted to make sure that people enjoyed it. That meant we needed lots of food.

According to the press, Microsoft will be supposedly releasing a minor update to their new mobile OS, Windows Phone 7, sometime in the next few days. The update, which has been referred to internally as "NoDo", will bring some minor software fixes and the highly anticipated copy and paste feature. Microsoft is also working on a more large-scale update they are calling Mango.
