Too often user experience strategy is defined in terms of current trends: "the site must support social networking". At ADGi we will define your user experience strategy in terms of your user's needs and your business objectives.
Our design team just completed an amazing concept model diagram as part of a vision and scope document for a client. The representation of the complex site into a visually appealing, easily digestible, and information-rich diagram is a powerful tool for the client to take forward into their detailed requirements and build phase.
I’ve managed to make a career out of “people watching”. I never tire of watching people at work and at play. Combining that insight with creative design leads to breakthrough products. It’s that process that continually excites me and drives my work.
I'm consistently surprised by what the participants in our mobile device tests stumble over or sail through smoothly. Every study reinforces one of the primary tenets of user experience design: "you are not your user."
Feel like you are swimming in a sea of data? Feel like the data sea level is rising? The challenge our clients come to us with is to turn that sea of data into useful information.

As a devout “techno-enthusiast”, one of the things I enjoy most about working at ADGi is playing with cutting-edge technology. An even bigger perk is observing real-world users interacting with the gadgets first-hand in our mobile device testing. There’s something special about watching a user’s discovery process with a new piece of technology. I live for those “ah hah” moments.
Our offices in Vancouver have an on-site usability lab, complete with spacious observation room for clients to view usability testing and/or focus groups. The offices are in a central location to make it easy for participants and clients to attend.

An integral part of efficient usability testing is identifying and telling a story, a story that conveys the nuanced complexities of the relationship between the person and technology. I never get tired of such stories.
ADGi is located in the newly restored Flack Block, at the corner of Hastings and Cambie in downtown Vancouver. The Flack Block is a beautifully reclaimed heritage building designed to LEEDs gold standard and has won numerous awards for building and sustainability design. We enjoy the culture of sustainability at the Flack Block and we support all of the activities of the building: recycling, composting, battery recycling, and making use of the bike locker facilities.
